There is something very unique about these illustrations by Jenny Brown. At first glance you may assume you are looking at floral illustrations but looking at the work more closely you will discover that there is definitely conceptual depth. Inspired by the botanical drawings of Mary Delany (1700′s) and Philip Guston’s abstract expressionism, you can really see a refreshed imprint of their styles in these works.
